I am a data scientist in the Systems Technology Lab at Adobe Research. My research interests are information visualization, visual analytics, and event sequence analytics. Specifically, I design, build, and evaluate tools to help analysts and data scientists find insights from their data through interactive interfaces combined with statistics and machine learning.
I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Maryland in 2016 with Ben Shneiderman and Catherine Plaisant. My thesis focused on a developing a visual analytics system for comparing cohorts of event sequence through high-volume hypothesis testing. Prior to that, I completed my B.S. in Computer Science at the University of Delaware in 2011. My undergraduate thesis on parsing and tagging natural language Java method names was advised by Lori Pollock and Vijay K. Shanker.
I am currently looking for interns for Summer 2019.
